Yoga star Talia Sutra is doing what many consider impossible or even dangerous when performing a “Hollow back handstand” down to a “bridge” and back to hand stand while being five and a half months pregnant (almost in her 3rd trimester!!). Achieving to being relaxed and balanced even when so big  is one of the highest Yoga virtues.

5.5 months pregnant! Today I had a meeting with my midwife Barbara. She looked over my blood test results and I was so happy to hear that I am doing well, she said my vegan diet is strong and it shows 🙂 @baby_sutra is big (as you can probably tell) and as I could hear through the doppler. We discussed our home birth plan further and Ezra was there as well this time and he made us his delicious hot cacao and got some of his questions answered as well. This is such an exciting time! Is it dangerous to practice Yoga while pregnant?

It is commonly known that practicing Yoga or working out in general in advanced pregnancy could be risky for the unborn and not mostly not recommended, how ever for professional athletes, Yoga masters and similar it isn’t necessarily the same case for few reasons, their body is more capable then the average person and they are more aware of their body capabilities and limitations even when undergoing the overwhelming weight and pressure of pregnancy.
